Before you start
Do you only design, or do you also build?
We do both. You can hire us to design and build your house with one team, or only for the architectural design if you already have a builder.
Which areas do you work in?
Mérida and its surroundings: Conkal, Dzityá, Cholul, Temozón and the north of the city. For other places on the peninsula, tell us where your plot is and we will look into it.
Do I need a plot to get started?
No. If you are still looking, we can review options with you before you buy: orientation, size, development rules and what can be built on each one.
Costs and timing
How much does it cost to build a house?
It depends on the size, the plot, the finishes and what the house needs. After the first meeting we give you a written proposal with the cost of each stage, with no commitment.
How long does the whole process take?
Every project is different. Before starting we give you a schedule by stage (design, permits and construction) so you know when your house will be ready.
How do payments work?
By stages, as the design and construction progress, as agreed in the contract. We never ask for the full amount up front.
During the project
Do you handle the permits?
Yes. We prepare the drawings and documents for the building permit and accompany you through the process with the city council.
Can I see my house before it is built?
Yes. With renders and walkthroughs you review materials, light and layout before the first block is laid. It is the cheapest way to make changes.
How do I know how construction is going?
We send you progress updates with photos and you can visit the site with us. You have one contact at the studio for the whole process.
