Architecture for living in Yucatán.

Rhino Studio is an architecture studio in Itzimná, Mérida. We design and build homes on the peninsula: single-family houses, small developments and prototypes for developers.

We work in Mérida and its surroundings, from Conkal to Dzityá.

How we work

Three rules we apply to every house, from the first sketch.

  1. 01

    Climate first

Orientation, shade and cross ventilation before air conditioning.

  2. 02

    Local materials

Crema maya stone, timber and finishes that age well with the humidity and sun of the peninsula.

    One team

The people who design your house are the ones who build it. Fewer middlemen, fewer surprises on site.
